The children have spent the weeks leading up to Lent hearing stories, playing games, making music, and filling the halls with their joyful giggles. Moving into Lent, they will turn our focus toward prayer, especially sung prayers. The activities during Children’s Music Time will help develop their individual prayer lives, grow their musical appreciation and skills, and provide a few minutes of fun while the adults enjoy the fellowship of Christian education and coffee.

Following dinner we will have an Ash Wednesday service in the Sanctuary to mark the beginning of this time in the church year when we prepare our hearts and minds for the suffering, death and resurrection of our Risen Lord. No need to bring anything but yourself! Sign-up sheet is in the Narthex, or contact the church office.
Willing Workers is scheduled to meet on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at 12 Noon in Room 204. Please bring a sandwich to share.
The March monthly Willing Worker meeting is scheduled to be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at 12:00 noon in Room 204. Bring a sandwich to share. Dessert will be provided.
On Monday, March 21, 2016, the Willing Workers will pack Easter Baskets. Please place Easter basket items in the marked containers in the Narthex. REFORMATION RADICALS! The Protestant Reformation had roots in very early times. Reformers in the early years sought to change the (Catholic) church and improve its practices. Later reformers broke away from the Catholic Church and commenced new strains of Christianity. Learn about the leaders of this movement and how their beliefs developed and how these beliefs impact our practices today. Led by Dan Peters who is a long time member of Sharon Church and a regular participant in the Adult Education Class.
