The children have been practicing very diligently (between games and giggles), and are ready for their next particiapation in Worship!
This Sunday, March 20 (Palm Sunday!) the kids will participate twice in worship. FIrst, they will parade around the sanctuary during the first hymn (please speak to Susanne Udvari for more on that), and they will sing with the adult Chancel choir during the Children's message.
Those who have been attending know the song, "Sing Hosanna," very well. However, the adults have not yet practiced with them. Therefore, we are asking all parents to bring their kids to the sanctuary at 9:30 am this Sunday, so the kids can get used to singing with the grown ups. The choir will be waiting for them in the trancept pews near the pulpit. We will begin promptly at 9:30.
Also, mark your calendars for Children's Day at the church, May 8th (Mothers Day!). The kids are learning a beautiful song based on Job 19:25. When we introduced it, several of the children burst into an impromptu ballet interpretation! Very cute!
We thank you so much for your cooperation, for encouraging the children to be active in the life of Sharon Church, and for sharing them with us every Sunday! They are truly a joy!
