Michael Ritter says that Deep Springs, through their partnership with DOW Chemical, received donated buckets that were used as incentives to attract new families to try Deep Spring’s chemical for treating water. The result was the distribution of 2000 buckets in the central plateau of Haiti.
If you have watched the news, you’ll know that the Haitians are facing a fourth year of draught. Therefore, more food will have to be imported and this will result in higher prices. As a result, families are going to have to choose between food and Deep Spring’s chemical for treating their water.
It would be wonderful if Deep Springs had the financial resources to be able to give needy families the chemical at a subsidized cost.
Please pray for the Haitian people during this extremely difficult time.
