Deacons

The Board of Deacons consists of fifteen church members who are elected to these positions by the congregation. The officers of the Board, Moderator, Sectretary and Treasurer, are elected annually by the Board at it its first meeing "It is the duty of Deacons to minister to those who are in need, to the sick, to the friendless and to any who may be in distress..." (Book of Order G6.0403). The Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Food Pantry, Sharon Ambassadors and Feeding the Homeless are just a few of the fifteen different service and mission projects supported by the Board.
